More new stuff

Rehearsal went well again last night. The band seems to be getting tighter. We shall see how it goes this weekend when we head over to Dance-Mor Ballroom in Swisher.

Sure seems like we play Dance-Mor an awful lot. Guess we do. It's a great place to play. No where else in the area can you play on a stage like at the Mor. Have available a dance floor the size of the Mor. And have the ability to have 800+ people there when you do play. Oh ya, your right, "Mark, what you talking about, 800 people?" the crowds are not that, anymore, but still larger than elsewhere. Take a look. Anyone can put 30 people in a 20x20 room and call it sold out. It's been over 20 years at the Mor for Black Diamond. Harold, Craig's dad, gave BD it's first local job. Still greatful to those fine pople.

Be aware, Friday and Saturday night, we are experimenting at the Mor. Stop on out and let us know what you think. We have not even played it yet, and I already have my opinion.

Keep it Live!!

The more we change, the more we stay the same..........

Been a long first 3 months. no new people, new people, no new people. The band she be a changing.............constantly. But, thru all the years, all the changes, people coming, people going, we have always progressed forward. Better than the first day, better tomorrow.

Ok, we shall see how well this goes and if I can keep up. The Black Diamond summer was looking bleak. I REALLY got scared in that the last time we had that many weeks open, I went thru hernia surgery, and the time before, hernia surgery, and the time before, cancer surgery. I told the wife I was scared and she said prolly be someone else in the band. BUT, in the last two days, I have booked 3 events and am waiting on 5 others for the time gap we had. Funny how things work.

Rehearsals are coming along well, We added Eddie Cotton to the bass position and move Jan over to guitar/keyboards/harmonica. Seems to be working very well. Looking to add some more material to the fray. I will let you know later how that goes.
